Miralee Ferrell

Wishing on Buttercups
This week Miralee Ferrell is in the spotlight. The winner of last week's Marriage by Arrangement is Jackie McNutt. Congratulations.

In Wishing on Buttercups, Miralee Ferrell once again brings her characters to life on a stage filled with wonderful secondary characters who will make you laugh as well as want to kick their shins. Beth Roberts is scarred both physically and emotionally as she copes with the mystery of her past and why she was abandoned as a child. When Jeffrey Tucker shows an interest in her, she is hesitant to let him into her life until she discovers they have a bond in their talents. He writes stories, she draws pictures and one editor sees the potential in both. While she draws the illustrations to go with his story, her feelings for him grow, but the uncertainties of her past and a failed love relationship keep her from fully opening her heart to Jeffrey who is desperately trying to make a name for himself outside of his father’s realm of influence. When the past merges with the present, the future becomes brighter as Beth discovers that what she is on the outside with the scars is nothing when true love wraps itself around her heart.

This is the sequel to Blowing on Dandelions, and is a DON'T MISS story set in the town of Baker City, Oregon in the year 1880.

Miralee is offering a copy of this book to some lucky reader. Please leave a comment below along with your email address to be eligible for the win. Then drop back later this week and read more about Miralee and her book. If you are a follower, you will have one extra entry.

Annoying legal disclaimer: drawings void where prohibited by law; open only to U.S. residents; the odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. No purchase is necessary and only one entry per post. Winner will be selected next week-end and posted here on Monday, March 24. You must be 18 or older to enter. Martha, thank you so much for hosting me on your blog, it's always such a pleasure! I loved your review and I'm thrilled you enjoyed my book, thank you! One quick note...near the bottom of the post it says you'll draw the winner on Feb. 17...I think that's supposed to be March 23, right? We shifted the post date by a month, if I remember correctly. :-)

Virginia, thank you for taking the time to check out my books, that's such a blessing! I hope you get a chance to read one, sometime. I have a GREAT one to start with if you have Kindle (It will be on Nook soon). A novella that's part of this same series, called Forget Me Not (you'll have to put my name in the search engine too) for only $2.99.

Barb, thanks so much for stopping by. It's always a pleasure to talk to someone who knows my neighbor state, or mine (WA) and loves it here. Thanks!!
