A new adventure from DiAnn Mills

With Lightning and Lace, DiAnn Mills concludes her Texas Legacy series. She finds yet another adventure with the Andrews family in Kahlerville as widowed Bonnie Kahler tries to regroup and get her children under control. When Travis Whitworth, the new preacher, arrives on the scene with a few secrets of his own. When he offers to help with Zack, Bonnie's troubled son, Bonnie realizes the opportunity God is giving her to start over again. However, the pompous banker, Lester Hillman, wants Bonnie's affections for himself. Under the guise of religious zeal, he manages to weave tales of evil around Travis and Bonnie. Mills' unique characters will keep the reader turning the pages to the end and will live in the heart long after the last page is read and love triumphs over evil.

Hi Martha!
I'm not to ACFW so you won't recognize my name I'm sure.

I was, just last night, reading an interview with Diann Mills about her Texas Legacy series-she's a new author for me and I'm excited to check out her books.

The book I'm working on now is set in East Texas, so I love getting to read anything I can that's also set in Texas.

I live in Seattle now, but was born and raised in Oklahoma and all my family, including my oldest child now, are in New Mexico. I'm jealous as can be that you live in Texas. Deep in my heart I think I'm a Texan. LOL

Hi Martha,
I think DiAnn is a great story writer. I have enjoyed reading many of her stories. I read the 2 other books in the series, and look forward to this book. I enjoy these westerns she writes and that she shows how good can win w/o the fairytale ending and winning with God's help. Marriana.

I have been reading a lot of non-fiction, and now I am ready to start a fiction book. I have always enjoyed DiAnn's books, and I would really like to start by reading Lightning and Lace if at all possible. I will have the non-fiction book I am now reading finished in time to start hers, if I am chosen to receive the book.

Thanks!

In His Love.

Having once attended a DiAnn Mills fiction workshop, I appreciate her creative and realistic approach to story telling. I would love to win her book for that reason alone but being an 8th generation Texan myself makes me all the more curious!

I loved Leather and Lace and ended up with two copies. I haven't yet purchased this one but would love to read it.

I would love to win a copy of Lightning and Lace because I have so enjoyed reading the first two books in the series.I'm on book-buying restriction right now because I've bought way too many books recently! And, I am very impressed with Diann Mills as an author and a very gracious fellow Christian.
